Le Gallais Self Storage Limited General Social Media Competitions Terms and Conditions

The promoter is: Le Gallais Self Storage Limited, registered number 151212, whose registered office is at 31 Queen Street, St. Helier, Jersey, JE2 4WD (“Le Gallais Self Storage”).

No Third-Party Endorsement

1. Any competitions run by Le Gallais Self Storage are in no way sponsored, endorsed or administered by, or associated with, Facebook, Twitter, Instagram or any other social network.

Entry

2. The closing date, what entrants need to do to enter, and the prize will be stated in             the initial competition social media post.

3. All entries must be received by Le Gallais Self Storage by the time stated for the competition’s closing on the relevant social media network. All entries received after this time will be automatically disqualified.

4. There is no entry fee for a Le Gallais Self Storage social media competition. No purchase is necessary, and no charge is applicable to entering a Le Gallais Self Storage social media competition.

5. Le Gallais Self Storage social media competitions are open to all Jersey residents over the age of 18, unless otherwise stated.

6. By entering a social media competition, you are agreeing to be bound by these terms and conditions and any other applicable terms as stated in the initial competition social media post.

7. Le Gallais Self Storage decision in respect of all matters to do with social media competitions will be final and no correspondence will be entered into.

8. Le Gallais Self Storage will not amend any entry or contact information once the entry has been received.

9. By entering any competition requiring you to contribute social media content you agree that Le Gallais Self Storage may utilise and reproduce this content.

Eligibility

10. Competitions are open to all Jersey residents over the age of 18 unless otherwise stated.

11. Competitions are not open to:

a) employees of Le Gallais Self Storage or its affiliated companies;

b) members of the immediate families or households of (a) and (b) above; or

c) anyone connected in any way with the relevant social media competition including companies which have donated prizes.

12. By entering the competition, you confirm that you are eligible to do so and eligible to claim any prize you may win.

13. Le Gallais Self Storage will not accept competition entries which are:

a) automatically generated by a computer;

b) completed by third parties in bulk;

c) altered, reconstructed or tampered with; or

d)  incomplete.

14. Entries are limited to one entry per person for each social media competition. Multiple entries from an individual will be discounted. Entries on behalf of another person will not be accepted, and joint submissions are not permitted.

15. Le Gallais Self Storage reserves all rights to disqualify you if your conduct is contrary to the spirit or intention of the social media competition.

16. No responsibility can be accepted for entries not received for whatever reason.

Prize(s)

17. The details of the relevant prize(s) shall be set out in the initial post announcing the competition.

18. Le Gallais Self Storage is not responsible for inaccurate prize details supplied to any entrant by any third party connected with any social media competition.

19. The prize is as stated, and no cash or other alternatives will be offered. The prizes are non-negotiable and are not transferable.

Winner

20. The Winner will be selected following submission via comments on our relevant social media page of a) the correct answer or failing that b) the nearest answer as determined by a member of Le Gallais Self Storage marketing team using Facebook Comment Picker. Their decision will be final.

21. The winner will be announced on the relevant Le Gallais Self Storage social media page. This announcement will contain information on how the winner should contact Le Gallais Self Storage to claim their prize.

22. Other than as permitted under these terms, the prize may not be claimed by any third party on behalf of the winner.

23. Le Gallais Self Storage will make reasonable efforts to contact the winner via social media and notify them of when and where the prize can be collected. If the winner cannot be contacted or is not available or has not claimed their prize within 5 days of the announcement date, Le Gallais Self Storage reserves the right to withdraw the prize from the winner and offer the prize to the next eligible entrant selected from the entries received before the closing date.

Liability

24. So far as is permitted by law, Le Gallais Self Storage will not in any circumstances be responsible or liable to compensate the winner or accept any liability for any loss, damage, personal injury or death occurring as a result of taking up the prize except where it is caused by its negligence. Your legal rights are not affected.

Data Protection

25. By entering a social media competition, entrants agree to the use of his/her name and image in any publicity material, as well as their entry.

26. You agree to participate in any reasonable publicity required by Le Gallais Self Storage.

27. By entering a social media competition, you agree that any personal information provided by you with the entry may be held and used by Le Gallais Self Storage, its affiliated companies and its agents or suppliers to administer the competition.

28. Any personal data relating to the winner or any other entrants will be used solely in accordance with the Data Protection (Jersey) Law 2018.

General

29. Le Gallais Self Storage, at its sole discretion, exclude you from entering a social media competition if it believes there has been breach of these terms and conditions.

30. Le Gallais Self Storage reserves the right to hold void, suspend, cancel or amend any social media competition where it becomes necessary to do so without notice.

31. Any changes to the competition will be notified to entrants as soon as possible.

32. Le Gallais Self Storage shall have the right, at its sole discretion and at any time, to change or modify these terms and conditions, such change shall be effective immediately upon posting to this webpage.

33. Social media competitions and these terms and conditions will be governed by the laws of Jersey and any disputes will be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Jersey.
